The
Online
Club
Tune out from the world,
and in with yourself.
Welcome to
The Online Club;
a space to gather &
take an intentional pause from the busy throws of life.
As we steam roll into the last part of the year, for a lot of us, this is when our schedules start to get maxed out.
Work deadlines, social catch-ups, Christmas parties (the list goes on).
We start to feel pulled in twenty different directions, and somewhere amongst all of that we can find ourselves feeling -
overwhelmed, overtired and overstretched.
(in other words over-it!)
Too many mental tabs open - the storage is full.
Sound familiar?
I know, because I’ve been there myself.
One of the biggest things that has helped me is setting aside time for a regular practice.
Time carved out to be with my body, breath and mind.
It helps me move through my day feeling anchored, calm and stable - even though the outside world may be feeling chaotic.
So instead of flying off the handle because I can’t fit another thing on my to do list,
over thinking rather than actually enjoying the event/ party/ you name it -
I have so much more mental bandwidth.
I can think clearer, focus better, embrace patience and most of all actually enjoy life (rather than just survive it!).
And this is really where the idea for The Online Club came from.
Whether you’re
~ A parent run off your feet.
~ Feeling the stress compound from work.
~ Navigating this busy, loud modern world.
~ Wanting to deepen your mediation practice.
This space is for you.
Practices designed to quieten the busy mind, to ground and anchor our scattered attention, slow down the breath, and build steadiness amongst the whirling world around us.
The Online Club will be ever evolving, with online sound baths and more restorative practices unfolding in time too.
But for now, we start here.
A weekly touch point to tune in with yourself.
During November and December, we will meet once a week for a 60 minute online practice.
A practice to ground, steady and calm the body and mind through:
Movement (Asana)
Breath (Pranayama)
Meditation
When: 7pm Thursday’s
Duration: 60 minutes
Where: Online via Zoom, from wherever you feel comfortable.
Investment: $12 (introductory offer)
Missed the live session?
You’ll have access to the recording for seven days, so if you can’t make it live, or want to re-watch, it’s there for you to use.
I look forward to sharing these incredible practices with you.
Until then,
take a full breath in through the nose, and a long, slow exhale.
Allow your shoulders to melt down your back.
Unclench your jaw.
And give yourself permission to pause.
About Your Host
Hayley
I stumbled across yoga in my early twenties when I was going through a challenging time with mental health.
My mum read an article in the newspaper speaking to the benefits of yoga and she thought it might help me – sometimes things have a way of finding you when you need it the most. At first I was sceptical that it would help, but wow what a life changing moment! I attended my first yoga class and never looked back.
A continued and forever student of this practice, I’ve also trained in the field;
200hr Yoga Teacher Training (The Yoga Social)
50hr Restorative Yoga (The Yoga Social)
300hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training (Brad Hay)
I am eternally grateful for these practices and the way they have transformed my life. I would not be where I am today without them. My intention is to share these incredible tools, so that they may also help others in their life too.
