Tone Wind was born from our own work in music and sound.

As facilitators, we were searching for instruments that felt grounded in the hands, warm in tone and steady in presence. What began as a personal exploration evolved into a small-batch instrument line - crafted slowly, intentionally and with care.

Each flute is made in Adelaide using carefully selected timber, shaped and finished by hand.

The Craft

We work with locally sourced and often recycled materials to make the flutes. With a strong focus on using a variety of different timbers to allow each flute it’s own unique tone.

Each instrument is:

  • Hand-shaped and sanded

  • Finished with natural oils

  • Tuned carefully

  • Produced in small batches

This is studio craft - not mass production.

  • There’s no right or wrong answer here - perhaps the space feels dense, heavy or not quite right. Perhaps there’s been alot of people moving through the house, bringing in different energies. Perhaps you just feel that it is needed.

  • It can be beneficial to cleanse the space regularly, often with each season or twice a year, to keep things feeling aligned.

  • Typically a Space Cleansing can take anything from 1 to 3 hours, depending on the number of rooms and the unique qualities of the space.
